How easy is it to hold a wildflower in your hand and call it a rose?
As easy as it is to tame a beast,
But the beast doesn't do the man any good,
Is just what the man does with the beast that counts.
Wildflowers are all but nature's offering,
When we live in synergy wildflowers don't really bother,
With care and concern we hold forth out wildflowers,
We garnish them and lay inside watery jars,
Just as we sheath the beast with all of nature's gifts,
Until flowers no longer defend felicity,
And struggle derails us of our mission,
Amidst all the struggle and contention,
Is when the beast preceedes the man.
Like the wildflower now gone waste,
From the eye of the beholder subjugating beauty,
Into the pride they call the rhododendron.
As easy as it is to tame a beast,
But the beast doesn't do the man any good,
Is just what the man does with the beast that counts.
Wildflowers are all but nature's offering,
When we live in synergy wildflowers don't really bother,
With care and concern we hold forth out wildflowers,
We garnish them and lay inside watery jars,
Just as we sheath the beast with all of nature's gifts,
Until flowers no longer defend felicity,
And struggle derails us of our mission,
Amidst all the struggle and contention,

Like the wildflower now gone waste,
From the eye of the beholder subjugating beauty,
Into the pride they call the rhododendron.
